Second Win Wednesday In Windy Game
Katie Pellitier (#19) rounds third heading home with one of the 9 Collinsville runs scored against Bristow.
The Collinsville Lady Cardinals took on the Bristow Lady Pirates Wednesday in the 2nd game for both in the Collinsville Regionals winners bracket.
Game Highlights
Collinsville was the "home" team and allowed one run by Bristow in the 4th and two in the 5th innings with some errors. But the Lady Cardinal bats provided plenty of margin with three 1st inning runs, four more in the 2nd and two in the 4th. Kelli Dunagan's 3-RBI double in the 2nd was the biggest but several of the Ladies had timely hits to advance to Thursday's finals as the only unbeaten.
Kelli Dunagan (#11) pitched her 2nd Regional game of the day with a complete game win over Bristow 9-3. She threw out this runner at first.
Hillary Brown tosses the ball ahead to second to get the lead runner on this play in early action against Bristow Wedmesday.
Jessica Carney (#7) rounded third then home and headed straight for the dugout "dog house" as she didn't want to chat with coach after getting faked into a run down at 2nd but bailed out by a missed throw allowing her to score.
Taylor Whisenhunt (#15) was trapped in no-mans land on this Jordan Perkins (#6) bloop into right field which the fielder couldn't come up on the fly but in time to get Taylor at 2nd.
