JrHi Football at Sallee Field Thursday Night
Freshman
quarterback Lane Coulter (#8) passed to Thomas Isom (#81) for a touchdown (above)
on the opening drive against the Catoosa freshman Thursday night. Bobby Shoate
(#31) ran in the extra point for an 8-0 lead at the 5:12 mark of the 1st quarter.
It
looked briefly like Kyle Rush (#34) had scored Collinsville's second touchdown
but it was called by by a holding penalty in the 2nd quarter.
Collinsville
made up for the holding penalty and scored above on Bobby Shoate's 6 yard run
with 2:18 left in the first half. QB Lane Coulter kept for the extra point run
and a 16-0 lead.
I
had to leave with Collinsville still up 16-0 in the 3rd quarter ... to try and
finish up Thursday's 2 softball games and 3 football game pages online in time
to make the varsity game Friday night and still get a bit of sleep. The freshman
roster is included with the
varsity ...
