Kevin
Phillips (#36) jumped in front of the Glenpool receiver and intercepted this
pass with 6:38 remaining in the game and set up the Cardinals final score of
the season at Glenpool's 21 yard line. Lenard Creek (#21) covered the final
15 yards on a reverse (below) scoring at the 5:14 mark of the 4th quarter.
Kelsey
Hewlett and her folks appeared with the other seniors for the final football
game. Kelsey continues her recovery from injuries in a car accident before the
season started in August.
Seniors:
Lance Kite (30), Andrew Evans (51), Nick Mendez (68), Cody Bittner (56), Billy
Alfieri (48), Brandon Stites (65) and J.R. Groenveld (40) watch the pre-game
coin flip.
Senior
Captains: Adam Thomas (81), Lenard Creek (21) and Nick Rabbit (22) won the
toss and deferred. The strong wind affected kickoff, punts and passes during
the game.
