City Commission Special Session Monday May 23, 2005 City Considering Natural Gas Franchise

The Collinsville City Commission met Monday, May 23rd
at 7pm (at the City Hall Annex, 1126 West Main) for a special session meeting.

City Commission:
1. Presentation by and discussion with GAEngineering, Inc. about professional engineering and consultation services to evaluate and appraise the ONG gas distribution system within the corporate limits of the City of Collinsville.
-- This was apparently a very brief discussion as it was ending as I arrived. Kevin Glover (of GAEngineering Dumas, Texas) was at the meeting, as were some ONG officials. -- Ted

2. Discussion and possible consideration and possible action to exercise the option to purchase the Collinsville gas system structure from ONG as provided for by the franchise.
-- Action deferred pending the analysis by GAEngineering.

IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION

1. Consideration and possible action to go into Executive Session to discuss and possibly take action on the following:

Discussions concerning the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion,
disciplining or resignation of any individual salaried public officer or employee as allowed by O.S. 25, 307 (b) (1).

· City Manager Selection Process

2. Possible actions on any matter considered in Executive Session.
I understand 2 or 3 city manager candidates were interviewed and interviews will likely continue at Wednesday's special session.

V. NEW BUSINESS

1. Consideration of any new business, which can be considered an emergency, to come before the City Commission not known about or which could not have been reasonably anticipated at the time of posting this agenda.

City Considers Taking Over Natural Gas Franchise ... Pending Engineering Analysis

City Commission Special Session Scheduled for (Wed.) May 25, 2005 Draft Budget - Trash - Gas - Manager

The Collinsville City Commission will meet Wednesday, May 25th at 5:30pm (at the City Hall Annex, 1126 West Main) for a special session meeting.

City Commission:
1. Review, discuss and finalize draft budget to be presented on May 31, 2005. - For information only -

2. Review and additional comments concerning letter from M.E.T Director, Michael Patton, prior to entering into negotiations with Waste Connections. - For information only - .

3. Discussion and possible consideration and possible action to exercise the option to purchase the Collinsville gas system structure from ONG as provided for by the franchise.
