At Age 91
Virginia Francis Hewitt
was born December 15, 1913 in Norman, OK and left us on May 9, 2005. She retired
from the Collinsville Public School system after 17 plus years. Funeral service
were Thursday, May 12 at Nick Reynolds Chapel in Collinsville. Burial was
in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
She was preceded in death
by: her husband, Garrett W. Bowman, Sr.; and son, Garrett W. Bowman, Jr. She
was the fourth of 8 children of Alec and Lillian Bryant Hewitt.
She is survived by: 2 daughters, Patricia Lester (Phil) of Seabrook, TX and Darlene Dunn (Alfred) of Collinsville, OK; and grandchildren, Lori McClane, Garrett W. Bowman III (Monica), Ralene Jones (Kent), Jenene Atzbach (Ray), Teri Lyn Baumbeger (Eric); and great-grandchildren, Melissa McClane (Blu), Cory Shaw, David Jones, Clifton McClane, Daniel Jones, Ryan Seidel, Shawna Keller (Jeremy), Garrett W. Bowman IV, Mallory Bowman; and great-great-grandsons, Alek Roe, Ryan Webber; and 1 sister, Lorene Auten; and numerous nieces and nephews.
