5 Groups Entertained the Collinsville High School

Davie Henry and P.J. Robinson of "Before The Fall" competed Tuesday at the battle of the bands. (Related Story)
L-R: Logan "Spike" Sours (drums), C. J. Rob, Josh Oliver, and Lew Ackerman of "The New Breed" performed at the S.A.D.D. Battle of the Bands Tuesday at CHS. (Related Story)
Brian Burns was happy to be performing his own songs Tuesday, as he was involved in a serious car wreck Monday night and credited his seat belt with saving his life. His compositions embraced the end of the world and getting out of war.
L-R: Nick Mendez, Harrison Mendez, Andrew Peardon and Scott Emerson (drums) of "Siox" rocked the CHS gym Tuesday. They received the second place trophy.
L-R: Nick Kollmann, Brendan Sink (drums), Josh Buchfink and Kevin Logsdon of "Collateral" were eventually selected as the winners of the band battle.
Mrs. Lykins (S.A.D.D. sponsor) took a turn on the drums by popular demand.
Note: I'll be adding a few more individual photos on the senior pages from this event.
