Game Shortened

By Darkness In 7th

Inola (closest to the center field wall in light uniforms above ) and Catoosa stretch before their game Thursday.
Inola won 8-5.
After the Catoosa-Inola game Thursday there was a run on the burgers prepared by the Card's baseball booster organization.
Collinsville's Ryan Coe (#12) was behind the plate for Collinsville in the Inola game Thursday night (left).
Kevin Phillips (#4) started on the mound against Inola. There was no score when I left in the 2nd inning to cover the band concert. When I returned the field light were out and the scoreboard showed Collinsville up 4-3 in the 7th inning. Apparently the lights failed and the teams left expecting to resume the game Friday.

The Collinsville-Inola game was not resumed Friday, but ruled official for having completed 5 innings on Thursday. Apparently only State Tournament games can be resumed (not regionals).
Catoosa's two victories Friday eliminated Cleveland and Inola. Catoosa and Collinsville will play noon Saturday for the regional championship.
