City Commission Meeting June 13th, 2005 City Manager Selection (Continues) & Gas Tax Without Franchise (Approved)

The Collinsville City Commission met Monday, June 13th
at 6:30pm (at the City Hall Annex, 1126 West Main) for a special session.

City Commission:
IV. Executive Session

1. Consideration and possible action to go into Executive Session to discuss and possibly take action on the following:

Discussions concerning the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion,
disciplining or resignation of any individual salaried public officer or employee as allowed by O.S. 25, Section 307 (B)(1).

· City Manager Selection Process and possible hiring.

2. Possible actions on any matter considered in Executive Session. (No action taken).

V. Unfinished Business

1. Consideration and possible approval of Ordinance 766 pertaining to a gross receipts tax on utilities operating without a franchise. -- (Approved ... this clarification to a 1935 ordinance was intented to continue getting the 2% tax from ONG despite the franchise expiration. It also expanded utilities to include communication services.)

2. Consideration and possible approval of emergency clause pertaining to Ordinance 766. -- approved

VI. New Business

1. Consideration of any new business, which can be considered an emergency, to come before the City Commission not known about or which could not have been reasonably anticipated at the time of posting this agenda. -- none

(Note: The commssioners will be meeting Wednesday night at the police station (7pm June 15th) for a working session where no actions willl be taken but the following topics will be discussed:

· Waste Connections - MET Director Michael Patton
· Employee Personnel Manual Discussion and review
