Cory Slagle & Jon Coleman presented the student handbook for board member review and it was approved and should be back from the printers in plenty of time for students return in the fall for both middle school & high school.

The milk bid by Hiland Dairy was approved for FY2006.

Assistant Superintendent Terry Due reported lots of painting was planned for this summer including exterior and selected interior room at all campuses. The middle school gym and band room will be painted to more closely match the new building. New lighting is planned for the band room interior.

An all-day kindergarten program will likely be implemented now that the state is offering funding beyond the previous 1/2-day program (where parents were charged for other 1/2 of day). Additional classroom space will need to be arranged.

There were several other agenda items that Emily & I did not get results from ... including the potential for setting another (special) school board meet in June 2005.
