Middle School
Cold (but dry) weather has allowed good progress on the middle school addition on the block between Center, 14th, Spring & 15th Streets. The base of the wall on the north end of the new building is taking shape (above). The heating? / cooling? units arrived a few weeks back (below).
Fire / EMS Station
The front view of the new Fire Station and EMS building (west of the old City Hall facing Main St. between 12th & 13th Streets) continues to take shape. A brick exterior (facing Main) will be added later. The top view is from the Library grounds.
Georgia (my "assistant") at the Newspaper Museum and website has been staying close to the space heater (and under her towel) the past few weeks as I've been having heater problems. Today was nice enough outside (about 60 degrees) to open the door and let some of that "warm" air in.
