Rain For Days

Now Ice & Freezing Cold

The recent "springtime" weather shifted to near constant rain for about three days and then briefly turned to ice Wednesday about noon (Jan. 5th) before drying up Wednesday afternoon.
The creek in City Park was full Wednesday morning (Jan. 5th).
The rain on some parked autos turned to a thin sheet of ice, but the roads stayed above freezing (at least through about 3pm Wednesday afternoon).
Looking Forward To Spring:
Prom info:
The prom is Sat. April 16th 8:00pm to 12:00am in the HS Gym and Commons. There is a dress code that will be in effect for prom attire. Dresses with extremely low cut fronts, one or two piece dresses showing the stomach or dresses that are too revealing will not be allowed. Backless, strapless, spaghetti strapped and halter top dresses are still ok. Boys should wear pants, a dress shirt with or without a tie or a tuxedo. Any questions reguarding dress code should be directed toward the Junior sponsors, Mrs. Whisenhunt or Mrs. DeLozier.
