Dodgeball / Queen On Horseback /

Co-Ed Dodgeball -- Mar. 16th
In an effort to raise more money for the prom, the Junior Class will be sponsoring a Co-Ed Dodgeball tournament for Collinsville HS Students. The tournament will begin at 3:00 pm on Wed. March 16th in the HS Gym. Entry fee will be $2.00 a person to play. Teams will consist of 10 players and will be evened out with equal numbers of boys & girls in the different grades. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place. Admission for spectators will be $1.00. We would like to invite everyone to come and watch some good old-school dodgeball!

Round-Up Club Queen / Princess and Sweetheart / Little Buckaroo
The Collinsville Round-up Club is currently taking applications for girls interested in competing for Princess or Queen. Entry Deadline is March 27, 2005. Contestants must be a member of the Collinsville Round-up Club by March 27, 2005.

Contestants will be judged on horsemanship, personal interview, modeling, public speaking and impromptu questions. The queen will receive a crown, sash, $150 to offset expenses, a belt buckle and various other prizes. The princess will receive a crown, sash, $100 to offset expenses, a belt buckle and various other prizes

The contest will be on Sunday, April 24, 2005

This year the club will be including 6 year olds & younger for the titles of Sweetheart and Little Buckaroo! There is a $20.00 entry fee. Contestants must be members of the club by March 27, 2005. No horsemanship involved.

City Hall To Open During Lunch Hour
February 25, 2005 Collinsville, Ok. City Hall will now be open during the lunch hour. Beginning Monday, March 7, 2005, the City of Collinsville will be open to assist customers continuously from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Offices will no longer close from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in order to better serve our customers.

Jim Whitlock, City Manager, states that many customers try and take care of business during their lunch period which is usually from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Whitlock states in order to provide better service to the citizens of Collinsville; City Hall needs to be open during these hours.

The boys lost yesterday and their season is over. The girls won 47-46 beating Metro Christian. The girls play Friday night the 25th at 6:30 pm at Catoosa. They will play Victory Christian. GO CARDS! -- Cory Slagle (2/25)
