A Few Doors West Of Current Location

Ostrander's Furniture & Appliance opened for business in Collinsville twenty years ago this week in 1985. The business was at 1021 W. Main (where the Collinsville Florist shop is now located) for about three or four years before moving down the block to 1011 W. Main.
2005
Phil Ostrander was updating the signs of his many furniture and appliance vendors this summer at the current Ostrander's location.
Long before Ostrander's the building was occupied by "Henry's 5c to $1" store (owned by Henry Wohlgemuth) from Oct. 1953 until at least the 1983 photo below. That business open in 1939 at another Collinsville location.
