Marissa Lanni was flatened from behind on this contested ball. I don't know the extent of her injury but she had to be aided off the field and left Sallee Field before the game ended. -- Ted

Lady Cards goalie Ashley Carothers stopped this shot but the Collinsville girls were shutout
and lost by 9 goals.

P.J. Robinson (#3) deflected this shot past the goalie and into the net for his third goal of the game against Claremore Sequoyah. Collinsville's Brett Smith also had a hat trick with three goals. Kraig Chambers scored the other goal for the Cards who earned a 7-2 victory Friday night.
Collinsville goalie Chance Turnbull managed to block the initial shot above but Claremore Sequoyah scored on the rebound for their only goal in the first half. Collinsville led 3-1 at halftime.
Just as time expired on the first half of the boys game, tempers flared and after a few moments of shoving (and perhaps a few fists thrown?) both sets of coaches managed to get their players separated. Several red cards were issued and the second half was played without incident. A final red card issued against Claremore Sequoyah ended the game early with 24 minutes still showing on the clock (from a 40 minute half). After Claremore Sequoyah had tighten the score at 3-2 about 4 minutes into the 2nd half, Collinsville controlled the rest of the scoring with 4 quick goals for the 7-2 final score.
