A freight train had a set of wheels jump the track approaching 156th St. North (north of Collinsville west of 129th E. Ave) ripping the rail ties for about 100 yards. The asphalt pavement at 156th St. North was also damaged at the crossing. The incident occurred just before midnight Tuesday Sept. 7th. The train was headed north out of Collinsville and stopped with the last car (above) partially blocking 156th St. -- Ted
