Lady
Cards Beat
Pirates 11-0
Played
at 9am and 3pm Also
Taylor
Whisenhunt slides head first into second but was forced out on a bloop into
right field for the first out of the first inning. Things improved for the Lady
Cards as they scored 6 runs in the first inning against Locust Grove Friday.
Erica
Holly (3rd base) and Jordan Perkins (pitches) and Rebyl Richardson were part
of the defense that held Locust Grove scoreless in the noon game Friday in pool
play of the Oologah Tournament.
Collinsville
had plenty of base runners in their 11-0 win over Locust Grove but these two
had the rare chance to run for themselves as they were not pitching (Dunagan)
or catching (Holly).
Lindsey
Dawson bats this pitch back up the field for one of the many Collinsville hits.
The Lady Cards scored 6 runs in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd, and 2 more in the 4th.
Jordan
Perkins delivers the pitch with Amanda Bolien catching on Oologah's field.
Jordan
Perkins allowed few Locust Grove base runners. A runner in the 1st inning was
eliminated by a double play and a 2nd inning runner made an unannounced trip
to the dugout and was ruled out.
Ginny
Forbes watched this pitch all the back to the cather's glove.
