Carl
Albert H.S. is at 2009 S. Post Rd in Midwest City
(near Tinker AFB)
First
round loss sends Collinsville to loser's side of bracket ... understand they
won their first game there ... so they play at 10am Saturday Oct. 9th
The
Collinsville Lady Cards never could get started against Bishop McGinness Friday
in their opening game at the 4A State Tournament at Carl Albert High School
losing 16-25. In the second game they stayed close and even pulled ahead at
15-14 but could only manage 1 more point in another 16-25 loss. They played
again Friday at 4:40pm. I'm assuming they played Catoosa? and understand they
will play again Saturday at 10am. Don't know opponent yet.
-- Ted Sat 1:15am -- By the time I finish softball + football + fire it will
be too late me to even think about being in Midwest City for that match.
Ted,
The girls lost the first game on Friday to Bishop McGuiness and then won the
second game over Catoosa. They played Victory Christian Sat. morning and beat
them, then had to play Bishop McGuiness again and lost both of those games 23-25.
They ended up fourth overall in the state, and the only public school in the
final four. They had a great season! Thanks for all of your coverage this season.

Per
the revised OSSAA bracket: Cascia Hall won the State 4A Title (again) by defeating
Bishop McGinness 25-18 & 25-18.
