The Homecoming Parade will be Friday Oct 15th at 3:30. Line-up will begin at 2:45 on Main Street, between 5th and 7th streets. All organizations and individuals are encouraged to decorate floats and/or vehicles to be in the parade. Drivers of floats or vehicles must be adults. A parent must ride on each float/trailer with students. No 4-wheelers, motorcyles or go-carts will be allowed in the parade. For more information contact Missy DeLozier at the HS 371-3382.

The School Board meets 7pm Monday Oct. 4th at the Education Service Center (1119 W. Broadway). Some of the topics on the agenda are:
* Discussion & possible vote to hire Crossroads Commercial Cleaning for building custodial work.
* Authorization to accept bids on Oct. 20th
* Sale or trade of school property on "Smelter Hill" and North 15th St.

9/30/04 Update from Emily Wright on the Presidential Debate: It was really cool even though I didn't actually get to go into the debate hall. I was with the press instead and we ran transcripts (the debate, word for word) to the thousands of press people in the Wellness Center. I was assigned to spin ally where all of the representatives and senators went after the debate to give interviews. I saw Madeline Albright, John McCain, General Wesley Clark, and a bunch of other politicians I didn't know. :) It was really interesting to be there and see how things worked.
