9/30/04 Update from Emily Wright on the Presidential Debate: It was really cool even though I didn't actually get to go into the debate hall. I was with the press instead and we ran transcripts (the debate, word for word) to the thousands of press people in the Wellness Center. I was assigned to spin ally where all of the representatives and senators went after the debate to give interviews. I saw Madeline Albright, John McCain, General Wesley Clark, and a bunch of other politicians I didn't know. :) It was really interesting to be there and see how things worked. |
