Collinsville received several inches of rain in a short period Thursday afternoon. This photo shows the water up over the downtown curb and about an inch deep on the sidewalk during the peak of the rain May 13th.
I posted this question briefly on the website back on May 4th. The answer is a new name for Pastor Danny Stanley's church at 1107 W. Main in Collinsville.
Stop by Debra's Book Store at 1016 W. Main to help commorate Armed Forced Day. Several vintage military vehicles will be on display in front of the store from 10am to 2pm Saturday May 15.
The City of Collinsville will support a "Free Landfill Day" Saturday May 15. A coupon is required from City Hall to allow dumping. Bring your city utility bill to city hall today to get that coupon and more information. Sorry for posting this so late ... i.e. you need to have the coupon today, as city hall is closed Saturday. -- Ted
