Ted Wright Note: This will likely be the last election conducted directly by the City. The Charter change approved Jan. 27th was signed by Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry on Feb. 4th and filed with the Oklahoma Secretary of State on Feb 6th. Those dates did not match the cutoff dates for Tulsa County Election Board preparation for an election.
A March primary would have been required if the election were held by Tulsa County.
