Education Foundation Grant Checks
Betty Cross holds her grant check presented by the Collinsville Education Foundation recently. She is joined by Hearld Elementary Principal Tommy Nichols, two of her students, Rhonda Paul and Sheryl Witten of C.E.F. The grants which were awarded to numerous teachers in the Collinsville school system totaled $13,276 this year.

Peggy Peterson accepted her C.E.F. grant check from Sheryl, Rhonda and Bill Thomas, and was joined by students Amber McElroy and Kelsi Miller for the photo.
Carol Sallee received her C.E.F. grant check from Bill, Sheryl & Rhonda.
Rev. Jim Carney accepts a $300 check from the Collinsville High School Student Council officers Friday Dec. 10th at the H.S. This check for the Ministerial Alliance was from the recent STUCO canned food drive (related story). The STUCO officers are dressed as Mr. & Mrs. Claus and helpers. (Related Story & below right)

CHS and middle school art students are adding to the Christmas festivity of downtown Collinsville this week with their window artwork.
