The
girls of the Collinsville High School Class of 2004 pose for their group photo
at the Senior Tea hosted by the Home Representative's Club. The annual event
was held at the Westport Mennonite Brethern Church.
The
festive mood of the CHS girls and their Home Representative hostesses changed
abruptly when club member Linda Pfeffer collapsed while standing at the serving
table. She definitely hit her head on the hard floor and possibly hit a ledge
on her way down also. She was given CPR before the EMS crews arrived and was
taken to the hospital in unknown condition. -- more later -- Ted 4pm 4/6
4/8/2004 update: Linda Pfeffer is doing much better but is
still receiving treatment.
Each
of the CHS senior girls was given a chance to introduce their mother and tell
a bit about their future plans (as Becky Henley does here proudly). Marsha Nachtigall
of the Home Representatives Club also had the members of the club tell of their
experiences with their own senior teas which were often held in homes with many
fewer girls than today.
