The CHS Girls Golf Team placed second at the Miami Invitational Golf Tournament last Thursday April 22nd. Erica Holly shot a 90 followed by Heather Hampton with a 92. Toni Slagle shot 102 and Valerie Hart shot 109. The team score was 393.

A very special thanks to Mr. Terry Due for the use of his cabin for the girls to stay overnight prior to the match. Others helping out were Pam Hart, Jennifer McElroy, and Bob Cottingim provided the dinner meal.

The girls go back to Miami Wednesday the 28th for the Regional Tournament.

Collinsville's Boys H.S. Golf team finished 4th at Miami's Invitational Tournament April 26th, held at the Miami Country Club.

36 hole match team scores were: Sallisaw 629, Miami 654, Cleveland 666, Collinsville 696, Wagoner 703, Miami II 705, Oologah 751 and Vinita 770.

Collinsville's Ryan Hart finished 2nd overall individually shooting a 74 and a 78 for a total of 152. Jared Ward tied for 14th with an 83 and an 85 for a total of 168. Clint Swango 98-89=187. P.J. Robinson 92-97=189. Tyler Chronister 99-102=201.

Coach Pratt is real proud of the team. Playing 36 holes for the first time this year and they did a good job. Regionals are Monday, May 3rd, and will be a 36 hole format also.

A special thanks to the individuals and businesses who helped purchase the boys and girls team bags. Our teams really look good with matching shirts and bags.
